Highly Recommend for the Authentic Experience
This place had an amazing rooftop terrace where I enjoyed some peace and quiet with garden plants around me and those lovely views. The breakfast was excellent well worth waking up for and set in a beautiful dining room that made it feel special.
It wasn't inexpensive but honestly it felt acceptable for what we got.

Charming decor with a strong bee theme throughout the hotel creates a unique ambiance. The large bathroom offers excellent space and features quality toiletries, which enhances the overall comfort during your stay.
The lack of an elevator makes accessing upper floors quite a workout, especially with steep, winding stairs that could be a struggle for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues. Rooms can feel cramped due to their unique layouts, with some bathroom doors obstructed by furnishings. The absence of air conditioning may lead to unwelcome heat during warmer months, making it less accommodating for summer visits.

I really enjoyed the charm of L'Abeille. The decor is delightful, with beautiful antique furnishings that add a unique touch to the ambiance. My room, though small, felt cozy and had a lovely vintage appeal. The bathroom was modern and spotless, making it a pleasant place to freshen up. The rooftop terrace is a fantastic spot for drinks, providing a nice escape with great views. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped with luggage, which was nice since there’s no lift. However, the stairs were quite steep and narrow, making it challenging to lug suitcases up to the third floor. It would have been helpful to have tea-making facilities in the room, or at least a kettle for those late-night cravings. Though the location was excellent—close to the train station and central attractions—the noise from the trams at night could be a bit bothersome for light sleepers. Overall, a charming hotel with some areas needing attention.
